Natalie is a skilled facilitator, strategist, non-profit manager, and international development professional. She specializes in bringing people together to take on complex environmental issues that come from different perspectives in order to create change. Equity is central to her work, and she designs collaborative processes that elevate and center those most impacted in a situation. She has worked with and managed networks such as the US Climate Action Network, the Lower Mekong Network, and the international program for Southeast Climate and Energy Network. She served as the youngest female Director on the board of Sierra Club, and has co-founded two nonprofits. This includes Care About Climate, an international youth climate action organization, and A Wisdom Keepers Delegation, which is a global Indigenous advocacy organization. Network Consulting
Natalie has collaborated with networks at both domestic and international levels. These networks, composed of organizations that exchange information, coordinate responses to shared challenges, and cultivate relationships for collective action, benefit from her comprehensive expertise. She has overseen network administration and facilitation, supported the execution of targeted work programs and action plans, delivered training to strengthen member effectiveness, and developed strategic plans. Strategic Planning Consulting
What is your north star, and how are you going to execute it in a way that honors your values, brings your organization success, and builds power to make everlasting change? Strategic Planning can be difficult, but Natalie has created collaborative and inclusive processes to develop plans that are consensus based, and invigorates organizations to make change. Services that Natalie can provide include: data collection from stakeholders, developing processes to collaboratively create the strategic plan, writing of the plan itself, developing monitoring and evaluation metrics to track the plan success, and supporting implementation strategies to get you started!
Facilitation
Natalie is an incredibly skilled facilitator, and can develop programming to support organizations and groups to work through critical issues and discussions from a neutral perspective. Her facilitation is tailored to the group or organization’s needs to achieve specific outcomes that are collaboratively developed with her clients. She uses a variety of tools and methods to engage participants, collect feedback, and encourage people to work together in new and creative ways. Working closely with the clients, she will ensure you are aware of what the plans are for the facilitation, and that it is in line with your goals and expectations to move conversations forward.
Organizing and Equity Trainings
Natalie has managed campaigns at the domestic and international levels to build power for change. She has also trained hundreds of people on how to develop a campaign, outline targets, and use organizing tactics. Additionally, Natalie has provided equity trainings to groups to build more inclusive environments and campaigns. These trainings provide agency to the individuals that receive them, and allow them to see how they fit into the overall picture when organizing for change.
