Example of Natalie’s Work

Natalie is the Network Facilitator of the Lower Mekong Network, which is a network of environmental organizations from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar. The network comes together to share information about issues happening on the ground and how to protect the biodiversity hotspot in the region. Natalie supports the network administratively as well as convenes spaces for members to have conversations through monthly virtual calls as well as an in person Annual Regional Meeting. Natalie is central to the planning and success of these member gatherings. The members are the ultimate decision makers in this network, and decisions are made through a form of consensus. There is a Working Group of members that provides guidance for network management throughout the year that Natalie supports. Natalie makes sure that information is communicated, members can have their ideas heard, and that there are spaces for conversation in the network.
